Dynasty Wins the NPPL Surf City Open

Dynasty Wins the NPPL Surf City Open

The San Diego boys are back!  Fresh off two major wins so far in 2011, Dynasty rolled into the NPPL Surf City Open on Friday with all eyes at the event watching them and then left on Sunday with yet another championship trophy.  The team, which in recent years has been working hard to continue to compete and beat the increasing talent of their opponent's, appears to once again be cemented as unarguably the strongest paintball organization in the world.  Dynasty beat XSV, who also had a very impressive tournament, in the finals in two straight back-to-back matches.

Dynasty has won more NPPL Huntington Beach events than any three teams combined, and there seemed to be little doubt in anyone's  mind that the team was poised for yet another win as dominated game after game throughout the prelims and finals.  The crowd was also heavily in Dynasty's favor, as with each victory the team's supporters would chant "D-Y-N-A-S-T.....Y!" again and again. After the win, Dynasty was then interviewed by Matt Marshall for the ESPN3 show that had been filming the tournament all weekend, so expect to see a lot of Dynasty-related press circulating both in and out of the paintball community.
