New fields for Skyball 2001 on order
NASHVILLE, TN: January 3, 2001: The World Paintball Federation and ZAP Paintball announced, today, the order of 5, brand-new, custom-designed, inflatable paintball courts, from Sup' Air Ball/ Adrenaline Games of Toulouse, France, to be used in the ZAP SkyBall 2001 5 player tournament. Each of these indoor courts is being manufactured to represent the new colors of ZAP Paintball's latest Performance Plus Tournament Paintballs, Kryptonizer, Blutonium, Atomic Rediation, High Octeal, and Purpulsion. Scheduled for March 9-10, 2001, at the SkyDome in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, ZAP SkyBall 2001 will attract over 150 teams from around the world into this 48 hour, indoor paintball extravoganza that features a purse exceeding $100,000 in cash and prizes.
"The 5 Sup' Air courts are being developed to offer SkyBall 2001 participants the very best in fair, competitive playing fields, as well as to present a dazzling visual experience for fans and spectators," says Steve Moore of ZAP Paintball. "Each new court, although different in color, will be identical in design providing teams with the greatest uniformity from court to court, as well as equal scoring opportunities for all teams."
"Everyone with ZAP Paintball is very excited about these new, top-of-the-line Sup' Air courts and paintballs," continues Moore." The new design for the 5 new paintballs comes directly from the suggestions and needs of the teams competing in the WPF/ZAP Tour tournament series. Because of their experience and good advice, we feel that these Performance Plus balls represent the best paintballs ever produced by ZAP."
Jim Lively, president of the WPF, states," The new courts being developed for ZAP Paintball and the WPF will consist of the very latest inflatable designs to come from Sup' Air Ball. We are thrilled to introduce these new systems in the largest, most prestigious tournament in the world, SkyBall 2001."
